Mountains in Ha Giang

On the way exploring the highlights of Ha Giang province with local guides, you will experience majestic landscapes, tribal cultures, historical monuments and famous landmarks.


Day 1: Ha Giang – Bac Sum Pass – Heaven gate – Twin Mountains – Lung Tam Weaving Village – Du Gia village

Start at 7:30 or 8:00am when your guide pick you up from your hotel or hostel.

We dirive to go to Bac Sum Pass → Going up the Heaven Gate to enjoy the twin mountains and the whole view of Tam Son town → Having lunch in Tam Son Town → Visiting Lung Tam Village (Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village) → Visiting and staying in the homestay of Du Gia Village. When we arrive in Du Gia village we will go to waterfall for swimming. (We have dinner in the homestay with Tay ethnic group and learn more about their cultures).

Day 2: Du Gia – Lung Ho village – Mau Due village – Meo Vac town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Dong Van town.

Having breakfast at 8:00am → After breakfast, we will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due and Meo Vac ( we will have lunch in Meo Vac town) . After lunch, we will continue our drive towards Dong Van town. We will make few stops for admiring the scenery and taking some photos of the Ma Pi Leng pass (one of the four most beautiful pass in Vietnam) and then we will going to Dong Van town, have dinner and enjoy the night there, Overnight in a Hotel ( 2**)

Day 3: Dong Van Town – Lung Cu Flag tower – lolo chai village – Lung Tao village -H’mong King palace – Tham ma pass – Yen Minh town – Yen Minh pine forest – Quan Ba town – Nam Dam village.

After breakfast (8:00), We will visit Lung Cu Village – the North Pole of Vietnam where, you can see beautiful village landscape down and the big flag at the top of the Dragon Mountain. We will go visit Lolo Chai village and the North point of Vietnam and then go to Lung Tao Village and have lunch there. After lunch, we visit Vuong Family, still called “Hmong King’s palace.” We will continue our drive towards Yen Minh Town, Quan Ba town, Nam Dam village. We will make few stops for admiring the scenery and taking some photos on the way. We will sleep in Nam Dam village, you can experience the culture and customs of the Black Dao people in Nam Dam Village which is dotted with stilt houses and surrounded by terraced paddy fields. (We have dinner in the homestay with Dao ethnic group and learn more about their cultures).

Day 4: Nam Dam village – walking around village – Lung Khuy cave – waterfall number 4 – Ha Giang city.

At 8:00AM after breakfast, we will trek around the village, take some pictures and visit Nai waterfall and visiting Lung Khuy cave. Lung Khuy Cave that is one of the newest cave, has just explored since 2015 in Ha Giang. In January 2016, they opened this cave to visit in which there is an amazing view with thousands of twinkle stalagmites and stalactites inside. After having a short walk with 2km, visitors can get there. You will be attracted by miracle landscapes along way to get the cave. A short hike on the way back to your car, take a breath and hop-on your car again to continue your adventure. Then lunch in Quan Ba town before heading back to Ha Giang city and then we go visit waterfall number 4.

Finish and end of the tour around 5:00PM. Then we will arrange your drop-off transfer to Ha Giang bus station where you can catch a bus back to Hanoi.
